Top action items

Top Action Items report

  • This section provides prioritized action items that the user needs to take care of and address the issues.
  • The user can navigate to this section by clicking the bell icon Bell Icon on the top right corner of the Elite Site Optimizer application.
  • It displays the results depending upon the category, action items, severity, and impact on the website.
  • This report helps to check the necessary detailed report to fix the technical SEO issues.

The action items displayed in the Top Action Items report as follows:

Keywords that need optimization

  • The "Keywords that need optimization" action item displays the 'total no. of keywords that need to be optimized' in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of keywords that are less than 6% CTR vs. Total no. of keywords in Search Query that are taken from GWT of the website'.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report. The detailed report provides the list of keywords that are less than 6% CTR in Search Queries that are taken from GWT of the website. This report also displays the search volume, monthly search, difficulty, impression, clicks, and CTR% for the keyword.

Missing Title

  • The 'Missing title' action item describes the 'total no. of pages that have page titles missing' in the impact section and the percent of 'total no. of pages that titles are missing vs. Total no. of pages in the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the On-page crawl data report with the list of Webpage URLs that have the missing titles. 

Duplicate Titles

  • The 'Duplicate Titles' action item gives data about 'total no. of pages that have Duplicate titles' in impact section and the percent of 'Total no. of pages having Duplicate titles vs. Total No. of pages in the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the On-page crawl data report with the list of Webpage URLs that have duplicate titles with titles provided.

Missing Canonical URLs

  • The 'Missing Canonical URLs' action item gives details about 'Total no. of pages Canonical URLs missing' in impact section and the percent of 'Total no. of pages Canonical URLs missing vs. Total no. of pages in the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the On-page crawl data report with the list of Webpage URLs that have missing canonical URLs.

High Server Response Time (>1.5 seconds)

  • The 'High Server Response Time (>1.5 seconds)' action item gives details about domains server response time (average) value taken from Google Analytics. The domain's speed must be taken care of if this value is greater than 1.5 seconds.

Pages that need optimization

  • The 'Pages that need optimization' action item provides information about 'Total no. of pages that need to be optimized' in the impact section and the percent of 'Total no. of pages that are less than 6% CTR value (data taken from GWT for the domain) vs. Total pages no. of pages in the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report. The detailed report provides the list of webpages that are less than 6% CTR value (data taken from GWT for the domain). This report also displays the impression, clicks, CTR%, average position, page views, and unique page views for the Page URL.

Missing ALT Tag

  • The 'Missing ALT Tag' action item will give Total no. of images that don't contain ALT attributes in the impact section and the percent of 'Total No. of IMG tags ALT attribute missing vs. Total no. of images available on the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the On-page crawl data report with the list of Webpage URLs that have missing ALT text and clicking on the “View Report” button provides the Image URLs that have missing ALT text in the specific webpage.

Duplicate Description

  • The 'Duplicate Description' action item gives details about 'Total No. of pages that have a duplicate description' in the impact section and the percent of 'Total No. of pages that have duplicate description vs. Total no. of pages available on the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the On-page crawl data report with the list of Webpage URLs that have duplicate descriptions.

High Page Load Time (>3 seconds)

  • The 'High Page Load Time (>3 seconds)' action item gives details about the domain's average page load time value taken from Google Analytics. The domain page load time must be taken care of if this value is greater than 3 seconds.

Server Error

  • The 'Server error' action item will give details about the 'Total No. of pages on the website that had server error links (5xx)' in the impact section. It will also display the percent of 'Total No. of pages in the website server error links (5xx) vs. Total no. of pages available on the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the Internal link checker report with the list of server error (5xx) webpage URLs.

Broken Links

  • The 'Broken links' action item will give details about the 'Total No. of pages that are broken (4xx)' in the impact section. It will also display the percent of 'Total No. of pages that are broken vs. Total no. of pages available on the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the Internal link checker report with the list of broken (4xx) webpage URLs.

High Bounce Rate (>40%)

  • The 'High Bounce Rate' action item provides details of the overall web site's bounce rate value (if > 40%) taken from Google Analytics. The bounce rate in the website pages must be taken care of if this value is greater than 40%.

AMP check

  • The 'AMP check' action item provides the 'total no. of webpages that have failed in AMP check metric in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of pages failed vs total no. of pages configured in URL management' that are taken from the Usability section.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report displaying the webpages that have failed in the AMP check metric from the Usability section. Clicking on the "View report" icon for any of the displayed webpage URL will provide the detailed report of AMP issues for the webpage with line and column numbers where the issue is present.

Mobile-friendliness

  • The 'Mobile-friendliness' action item provides the 'total no. of webpages that have less than 65% in Responsiveness' in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of pages that have less than 65% in Responsiveness vs Total no. of pages configured in URL management' that are taken from the Usability section.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report displaying the webpages that have less than 65% in Responsiveness from the Usability section.

Pages that need speed optimization

  • The 'Pages that need speed optimization' action item provides the 'total no. of webpages which have failed in Performance metrics' in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of pages failed vs Total no. of pages configured in URL management' that are taken from the Usability section.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report displaying the webpages that have failed in Performance metrics from the Usability section.
  • The elements covered in this section are Image optimization, Page size, page speed and loading time, Effective browser cache settings, Minify script metrics, and render-blocking scripts.
  • Clicking on the "View report" icon for any of the displayed webpage URL will provide a detailed report of Performance metrics issues for the webpage.

Pages That Need UX Improvement

  • The ''Pages that need UX improvement' action item provides the 'total no. of webpages which are lesser than Good (relevant to Good) in UX score' in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of pages that have less than Good in UX score vs Total no. of pages configured in URL management' that are taken from the Usability section.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report displaying the webpages that are less than Good in UX score from the Usability section.

Pages that need accessibility improvement

  • The ''Pages that need accessibility improvement' action item provides the 'total no. of webpages which are lesser than 75% in Accessibility' in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of pages which have less than 75% in Accessibility vs Total no. of pages configured in URL management' that are taken from the Usability section.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report. The report provides the list of the webpages that are less than 75% in Accessibility from the Usability section.

Pages that need readability improvement

  • The 'Pages that need readability improvement' action item provides the 'total no. of webpages that are lesser than 59% in Readability score' in the impact section and the percent of the 'total no. of pages that have less than 59% in Readability score vs Total no. of pages in the website' taken by the Elite Site Optimizer Crawler.
  • Clicking on the action item navigates to the detailed report. The report provides the list of the webpages that are less than 59% in Readability score from the Readability score section.

The accessibility score is evaluated using the recommendations provided for Accessibility and using Google Lighthouse API functions.

What is meant by Severity?

Severity indicates the impact of a metric on the user's website and business processes.

What is meant by Impact?

The impact displays the total web pages or keywords that got impacted in the domain's reports.

What is meant by % of total?

It means the number of clicks that your website receives is divided by the number of impressions your website is shown (clicks/impression).

What is meant by Average Position?

Average position (ranking) of the keywords that were added to the campaign through campaign settings.

What is meant by Unique Page views?

The number of times the user has viewed during the same session.

What is meant by Page views?

What is meant by UX Score?

User experience score is calculated based on the samples taken for several metrics like page load time, time to first byte (TTFB), time to load the fully visible page, time to interact by a user after loading the visible page. These sample data are compared with the standard satisfied and tolerable timings.

What is meant by Readability Score?

Readability refers to the efficiency with which a person can understand the phrase of text and it also depends on the complication of the content of the webpage. The readability score is calculated depending on the Flesch reading ease score and ESO's algorithm. The accuracy of the readability score and count statistics is based on the web page content & HTML structure score coefficient.
